Prof. Liming Dai of University of Regina, Canada, visited the College of Mechanical Engineering for academic exchange

At 10:00 a.m. on November 6th, 2019, Prof. Liming Dai, a tenured professor of industrial systems engineering of the University of Regina, Canada, and fellow of American Society of mechanical engineers, gave a speech entitled "thermally and numerically solving for nonlinear systems with a piece linearization" in conference room 7338. The report was presided over by Vice President Rui Chen with the active participation of teachers and students.

At the beginning of the conference, Prof. Liming Dai introduced the beautiful campus environment and strong academic atmosphere of Regina university to all the teachers and students, and the basic situation of his college and the non-linear dynamics, chaos and high precision he has been engaged in. He also introduced the development of nonlinear dynamics and his P-T method for solving nonlinear systems. At the end of the report, Prof. Dai had a positive communication with the teachers and students on the content of the report, and they had a deeper understanding of nonlinear dynamics. Finally, Deputy Dean Rui Chen, on behalf of the College of Mechanical Engineering, expressed his gratitude to Prof. Liming Dai for his academic report and hoped that our college could establish a deeper cooperation and exchange relationship with the University of Regina.
