Limin Tang , a senior engineer of Chengdu Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. ,gave an academic report at the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering of Chongqing University

At 9:30 a.m. on March 24^th, 2021, Limin Tang , an outstanding expert of Sichuan Province, a senior engineer of Chengdu Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. and a distinguished professor of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, gave an academic report at the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering of Chongqing University.

First, Prof. Xiaohui Chen, secretary of the college, introduced the background of the report and the speaker. She pointed out that in the current aviation manufacturing industry chain, the processing of aircraft structural parts accounts for a relatively large proportion. At present, aircraft structural parts are developing in the direction of larger integral parts, more complex structure, more precise manufacturing, and more diversified materials. With the development of precision and material diversification, Researcher Tang has been engaged in digital manufacturing technology and data control for a long time, and has deep insights in this aspect.

Researcher Tang made an academic report on the theme of "Thinking and Practice of Intelligent Manufacturing of Aircraft Structural Parts". He introduced the characteristics of aircraft structural parts, the development trend of CNC machine tools, the construction ideas of intelligent workshop, and the construction ideas of Chengdu CNC workshop "and answered the questions raised by audience in detail based on his own experience.

After the academic report, researcher Tang and his team visited to the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission. Guibao Tao, deputy director of the laboratory, introduced the development process, laboratory instruments and projects of the transmission laboratory in detail. Tang and his colleagues recognized the transmission laboratory equipment. So far, the academic report and academic exchange have been successfully concluded.
