On May 25th-26th, 2020, a team led by Xiaohui Chen, secretary College of Mechanical Engineering of Chongqing University, conducted a research in CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co Ltd, CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co Ltd and Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co Ltd, topics were discussed including the cooperation between the institute, student employment and alumni visit.

The company is an A-share listed enterprise held by CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co Ltd, a subsidiary of CRRC, and is the new materials industry platform of CRRC. The company is mainly engaged in the research, development, and engineering application of polymer materials such as vibration and noise reduction and light weighting, and its products extend to many fields such as rubber, plastic, composite materials, and functional materials, etc. The products are mainly applied in the fields of rail transportation, automobile, new energy and special equipment.
