College of Mechanical Engineering "Mighty Wind Cup" Table Tennis Tournament

The table tennis tournament, sponsored by the Sports Department of the Mechanical Engineering Students' Union, started on October 31^st. Each class took the initiative to participate in the tournament after deciding the candidates for men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles.

On the opening day, the table tennis court was packed with people sweating, talking, and laughing in the sun. During the tournament, all participants adhered to the competitive spirit of "friendship first, competition second", and exchanged ideas with each other, cheered for victory and were not discouraged by defeat, which allows students to participate more in sports activities, to better arrange their time for study and after-school life, and to provide an opportunity for students to communicate. It also provided an opportunity for students to communicate with each other.

After a climactic and exciting competition, classes 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, and 14 finally advanced to the top eight. Class 12 stood out and successfully advanced to the final four, and won the championship of the table tennis tournament in the final relying on teamwork, excellent ball skills, and strong mental quality over the strong class 1, which came in second. Liyi Hu and Nanxin Ye won the men's and women's MVPs respectively.
